Hosted by the Edyth Bush Institute, join Alyce Lee Stansbury, CFRE, for a two-hour workshop for board members who want to advance their nonprofit’s mission by deepen their understanding of fundraising. The session will explore how board members can identify their unique contributions to the fundraising effort, process, build ownership of fundraising goals, and align fundraising strategies with the organization’s goals. Attendees will learn how to engage more effectively with donors, build long-term relationships, and drive fundraising success through board leadership.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of the fundraising team and how board members fit within it.
  • Explore strategies to foster shared ownership of fundraising goals between board members and staff.
  • Explore ways for board members to find their niche in the fundraising process.
  • Learn best practices for board members to build and nurture meaningful donor relationships.​
